My Way is for Germantown and Mt. Airy residents age 55+ who want to live independently at home as they age. Founded in 2009, My Way is a not-for-profit joint venture of Neighborhood Interfaith Movement (NIM) and Ralston Center.
Neighborhood Interfaith Movement
NIM is a nonprofit, non-sectarian organization that assists children, families, and vulnerable and older adults in Philadelphia. Working with over 50 Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Unitarian, and Muslim congregations and faith institutions, NIM works to strengthen neighborhoods by engaging people of all ages in service and social justice advocacy.
Ralston Center
Founded in 1817 by Sarah Ralston as the Indigent Widows and Single Women’s Society, Ralston House served for over a century and a half as a residence for low-income seniors. As newer options for senior housing became available, its mission was broadened in 1985 to address the health and quality of life of older adults through an array of services, programs, education and research.
